Artist Bio - Belinda Eldridge

My early art influence came from the freedom of living in the outback, earthy tones and vibrant colours. A career as an arts worker mentoring children and adults paved the way to rekindle that part of my authentic self and am now developing, exhibiting and marketing my art.

I now have begun to practice in a more expressive, impressionistic style depicting Australian landscapes and seascapes created with a palette knife and brush to the more blended illustration style for birds and horses.

A lot of my time is devoted to my art building on my repertoire exploring themes of beauty in nature and is my goal for the viewer to find excitement, peace and joy that nature offers through my inspired style.

My creative process for landscapes and seascapes emphasises the light contrast and colours of the Australian terrain and sea. I embrace the process, allowing the artwork to guide me and organically evolve, blurring the line between intention and spontaneity, inviting viewers on a visual voyage. I am dedicated to advancing my art and the opportunity to pursue my passion professionally fills me with gratitude, and I hope my artworks bring you as much joy as I experience in creating them.
