Contentment Portrait Of A Woman

Description : I'm super stoked to share a bit about my work with you. This painting dives into the serene and contemplative world of silhouettes, focusing on the quiet strength found in simplicity. This is the first painting of 2025 and captures a woman in profile, her silhouette washed in rich blacks and greys. With her eyes closed in absolute contentment, she embodies a peacefulness that I believe we all seek. For me, art is all about finding those moments of stillness in our crazy, fast-paced lives. I love working with silhouettes because they strip away distractions and let us focus on the essence of the subject. It’s amazing how a simple outline can tell such a profound story. The use of monochrome tones in my work helps highlight the contrast between light and shadow, further emphasizing the inner calm I aim to convey. I hope my paintings invite you to pause, reflect, and maybe even find a little bit of that contentment in your own life. Certificate of Authenticity comes with each artwork. The sides are painted to match the main artwork. If you would like a smaller or larger similar artwork, please do not hesitate to reach out! Signed on the front right hand side. I'm Julie, an artist living on the beautiful Gold Coast. My art journey is all about capturing the essence of everyday moments and the wonders of nature that surround us. I find inspiration in the little things – from the way sunlight filters through leaves to the calming rhythm of the ocean waves.

Every painting I create is a piece of my soul and heart laid bare. I don’t plan too much; I just paint what moves me on that particular day. It’s a very personal process, and I paint primarily for myself, but knowing that my work has found homes around the world is a feeling like no other.

I love that my pieces resonate with others and bring a touch of the Gold Coast’s beauty and my own perspective into their lives. So, welcome to my world – I hope you find a bit of your own story in my art.
